About Us

Mrs. Gilbert

Hello! I am Mrs. Gilbert and I have been teaching here at CVC since 2008.  I was a graduate of CVC back in 1999.  I went on to get a degree in Criminal Justice at CSU, Stansilaus where I competed in Track and Field as a Thrower.  I went from there to CSU, San Bernardino to get my Masters in Criminal Justice.  After that I felt God leading me in a different direction, which brought me to teaching.  I went back to school to get my CA Clear Credential then a job back at my old school. I am married to a wonderful guy, Brian, who also teaches in the High School here at CVC.  Together we have three awesome children, one boy and twin girls.  I love teaching your students here at CVC and am always excited to see God work in their lives.

 Mrs. Janzen

I've been blessed to be a part of the CVC staff now for 13 years.  One of my favorite subjects to teach is Bible because of the excitement 8-9 year old kiddos gain as they read scripture. As they become familiar with looking up verses & story passages, God's Word becomes an integral part of their growing faith.  I grew up in Kansas and attended a Christian college. There, I met my super supportive husband, Randy. He's in music ministry. We have 3 adult children. Dustin, his wife, and sweet Emmy, age 2, live in San Antonio, Texas. Grand-daughter #2 will arrive in January. Annie, her husband, and lovable Wesley, age 1, live here in town . Our youngest, Renee, works for a mortgage company here in Visalia. I enjoy spending time at the coast/mountains, walking, working outdoors, singing, and reading.
